Palliative Approach in the Community Matters

Join Fraser Health’s Palliative Medicine Education Series today

About Our Education Series

This interactive education series is designed for primary care providers—family physicians and nurse practitioners—who want to strengthen their ability to support patients receiving end-of-life care at home. Hosted by the Fraser Health Department of Palliative Medicine, the sessions combine clinical frameworks with practical, compassionate strategies to guide providers in delivering high-quality care in community settings.

Participants will gain:

  • Practical tools to navigate complex conversations and care decisions

  • Guidance on symptom management and holistic patient support

  • Insights into fostering dignity and comfort for patients and families

With three sessions available, attendance at all is highly recommended. Supplementary materials will be provided for ongoing reference, ensuring that the learning extends beyond the sessions themselves.
